Track Name: cut the rope
he cut the rope for he was sure there was time to save himself
he thought he peaked but he just doesn't reach what he is seeking, seeking

he fled to the country side to find a noble life of peace and meaning, meaning
but rest assured he never had a restful heart it was always restless, restless

that's not to say, he looked down,
that's just to say, hey look around

he could not separate the truth from lies, it lost meaning, meaning
so he stared into a big black hole through the course of the bright day light
i say, your name, i say your name, stand up
i say your name, i say your name stand up

that's not to say, he looked down
that's just to say, hey look around
Track Name: your money
your money was never safe, a discerning look comes across your face, it was never meant to replace your mother's heart

and you can climb up all the ladders, but would you find what matters, or look below to see the ground has been shattered, shattered?

so you are free to hide behind your currency
but it's not free to hide behind your currency
so while you're free to hide behind your currency, it's only currently.
Track Name: who knew
four o'clock on a Saturday night, the party begins to fade, the party host meant to keep it light, but could not afford the barricade

and all the party guests were all wiped out
but we just sat there on the couch, it was alright, it was all right.

and who knew, that's what you wanted, to move closer to me, and who knew that's what you wanted, to have what you wanted, we had what we wanted that night

alcohol just lost its effect, the bar was out of wine, we acted like we just met or maybe it was the second time

and who knew, that's what you wanted, to move closer to me, and who knew that's what you wanted, to have what you wanted, we had what we wanted that night

fixated on the pulse of your breath, I wonder how you think, hold up let's not get so confident yet, we wouldn't want this ship to sink

and who knew, that's what you wanted, to move closer to me, and who knew that's what you wanted, to have what you wanted, we had what we wanted that night
Track Name: ode to baba
so you wish you were a little bit younger than you are right now, a little bit more confused, a little less aware but you don't know how, and your life will flow in one direction, that is out, to a sea of ecstasy not without your doubts

and you'll come again in waves, looking for a place to stay

right here, right now, right here, right now, be here now

so you're still working that same old job you said you quit by now. You're not sure of the next step but you take them anyhow. no sense in sitting on the sidelines waiting for a ref to call foul, there are no guards on the shore and there are no times out.

and you'll come again in waves, looking for a place to stay

right here, right now, right here, right now, be here now
Track Name: sides
i don't know what i look like coming out from the other side
whose to know or to care what you think of me really
I never had to prove myself to anybody anyway
alls that matter is that I still believe in what I do and say

and the mind, receives, its healing
and the earth rises up
and the "I" becomes another
and then I go back to the other side

I don't have to talk in the language they speak and hear in
I find my own way to walk nothing will steer me
and there are plenty of people think that I'm all types of vain
perhaps the borderline between insane and sane

and the mind, receives, its healing
and the earth rises up
and the "I" becomes another
and then I go back to the other side
Track Name: war
it's a war - it's a war
and you can't be waiting, for a right side to win
yeah fatalism, is the mark of a modern religion
and overshadows the want to be rather than how we've been

and i'm sure, i'm sure...
you still care, and your heart isn't lying in greed
before it was born, we had everything that we need
and with no reasons there's no reason to concede

and you can't hold me down
no you can't hold me down
it goes around and around
not waiting to be found

for what it's worth, for what it's worth
there have been moments of unparalleled fear
there was a day when I was stripped of everything dear
and all I contain is nothing I can hold near

and you can't hold me down
no you can't hold me down
it goes around and around
not waiting to be found

and what's it for, what is it for?
I'll tell you it's not day trading or when the politiicans lie
it's not for me to say, the gods that will catch your eye
and whatever role you play, will not require a disguise

and you can't hold me down
no you can't hold me down
it goes around and around
not waiting to be found

and what's more, what is more
nobody could say there was a chance that you win
it's not how you end but how you begin
it's not how you end but how you begin

and you can't hold me down
no you can't hold me down
it goes around and around
not waiting to be found
Track Name: second wind
exit wounds don't hurt so bad once you've had that time to heal
it's the universe's way of saying it's not through with you

and your heart is yours to keep if you're glad enough to have it
otherwise she'll leave you just like the way you left her

oohh in a second wind
ooohh in a second wind

don't you pack all your stuff, its never enough, because before long
it just returns to the same place you once came from

and you should stop thinking your glass, as fragile as your continued charm, everybody once in a while will get boring...

ooh in a second wind

and you will take a risk and miss and try again
and you will take a risk and miss and try again
and you will take a risk and miss......
Track Name: no-one to blame
our minds rhyme, and glow when they aren't distant, there's still time before we come to miss it, its that feeling you almost never get, the initial moments of meeting someone you swore you once before met

and we took our time and we put into this haze
the only exit is an all way entrance to a never ending maze
yeah we argue all the time, that this isn't just a phase
we say we will all be fine but I'm pretty tired of that phrase

now my candles out and the people around me have begun to shout with out using words
and amidst the confusion the only conclusion is that the sole solution is that there's no-one and no-one to blame.

so fight on, so fight on
so fight on, so fight on

and write poetry
write it with me
write poetry
write it so you can be seen.
